Founded in 1991, J.P.’s has grown into a Delaware destination. People visit J.P.’s to indulge in our diverse menu while enjoying our scenic fishing village environment on the Delaware Bay. Bowers beach was the docking station for the steam boat, The Frederica, that traveled between here and Philadelphia. The town in its day was a fishing industry hub (oysters, fish, blue crabs, and charter boats). Fishing is a way of life in this small town. J.P.’s takes advantage of the gifts the Delaware Bay has to offer, we pride ourselves on catching our own Rockfish, harvesting oysters and supporting our local crabbers. Everything is cooked to order with the freshest of ingredients.

J.P.’s strives to make your visit a pleasant one. We cook all of our food to order. Burgers, steaks and crabs take few more minutes to prepare than other places. We ask that you be patient and enjoy the view. Please keep children under your supervision, this is a working dock and children should be supervised at all times.

Please be patient, all food is cooked to order.
No substitutes please. Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish or eggs may increase your risk of food-borne illness.
